Edward W. Jr.,
75, loving husband of Luray (Buckley), passed away on Friday, February
9, 2018. Born in Teaneck, NJ Mr. Engels resided in Whiting, NJ for the
past fifteen years and formerly thirty years in Pompton Lakes, NJ.
He was a motion picture studio mechanic for Local 52 in New York
City, was active as a coach in Pompton Lakes-Riverdale Little League and
Girls softball, and member of the Traditional Archers. Along with his
wife, he is survived by two daughters, Tara Mc Govern of Somerville, NJ
and Dawn Riordan of Mount Pleasant, SC., four sisters, Eileen
Bayersdorfer of Manchester, NJ Deborah Profe of
Closter, NJ Diane Velten of River Edge, NJ and Cindy Keller of Wyckoff,
NJ and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister,
Alison Fuchs. Visiting hours Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 10 AM
to 12 PM with a funeral service to follow at 12 Noon at
Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark-Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, N.J.
Interment, Pompton Reformed Cemetery, Pompton Lakes.
