Kishbaugh, Elwood D. “Dutch”, 88, of Berwick, passed away at his home Saturday, February 10, 2018.  Born in Berwick on April 7, 1929, he was a son to the late Samuel and Susie (Bottieger) Kishbaugh.   Dutch attended Berwick High School before serving in both the Pennsylvania National Guard and the United States Air Force.  Afterward, he drove a cement truck for the Joel Tanis & Sons Ready Mix Concrete Co. in Fair Lawn, NJ until his retirement.  A kind and caring man, he generously gave of his time.  Elwood served his community for 42 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Company.  He was fire chief for two of those years.   Surviving Dutch is his loving wife of 59 years, the former Elizabeth E. DeVries.  Also surviving is his son:  Mark Kishbaugh and wife, Maryann, of NJ, daughter:  Wendy Wagner and husband, Michael, of NJ, grandchildren:  David Kishbaugh and wife, Heather, of Milford, Timothy Kishbaugh and wife, Sarah, of NJ, Ross Wagner and wife, Megan, of NJ, and Chelsea Lutz and husband, Adam, of Myerstown, great-grandchildren:  MacKenzie and Hayden Kishbaugh and Clayton Lutz, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Elwood was preceded in death by brothers:  Elsworth, George, Samuel, Jr., Harold, and Marvin Kishbaugh and sisters:  Arzella Kishbaugh, Adeline Seely, and Edna Kishbaugh.   All are welcome to join Dutch’s family for a viewing from 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, February 13 at the Kelchner-McMichael-Baker Funeral Home, 119-121 East Third Street, Berwick.  His family will also receive friends at Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, NJ 07457 from 5-8 PM on Thursday, February 15.  His funeral will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 16, also at Richards Funeral Home.  Burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Kinnelon, NJ will follow.  Memorial donations may be made to Commonwealth Home Health and Hospice of Berwick, 109 W. 9th Street, Berwick, PA 18603.   Online messages of love and support can be left at
