| Alexander, Mary C. (Heitzmann),
75, wife of William, Jr., passed away Thursday, July 9, 2009, at
Morristown Hospital, after a long illness. Born in Paterson, NJ, Mrs.
Alexander, married in 1951, was a homemaker and lived in Bloomingdale, NJ,
for 49 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church and sang in the
church choir and in Harmony Singers of Wayne. In addition to her husband,
she is also survived by children, William of Bloomingdale, NJ, Thomas of
Scottsdale, AZ, James of Bernardsville, NJ, John of Kinnelon, NJ, Louise
Genardi of Oak Ridge, NJ, Patricia Roughgarden of Highland Lakes, NJ, and
Susan Hall of Newfoundland, NJ, brothers, Edward Heitzmann of Pennington,
NJ, and Robert Heitzmann of Leesburg, FL, and 15 grandchildren. Funeral
from the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, 9
AM, Monday. Funeral Mass 10 AM at St. Anthony’s Church, Butler, NJ.
Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa, NJ. Visitation Sunday, 2-4
PM and 7-9 PM, In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony’s
Church, 65 Bartholdi Ave., Butler, NJ.
