Dobson, Henry (Harry) Warburton, Jr. 80 died peacefully at his lakeside home in Hewitt, NJ December 31, 2009. He was the only child of the late Henry W. and Florence (Haley) Dobson. Employed as a salesman for United Hoisting Co., Englewood, he was most recently a partner in the mortgage company of Dobson & Brennan, LLP, Hewitt and Keystone Investigations, Hewitt. Harry was President of the Bergen County Historical Society (1958-1961). In 1959 he conceived and formed the American Revolutionary War Roundtable in Bergen County, an organization that remains active today. A volunteer for the Hudson River Sloop Restoration (Clearwater), Poughkeepsie, NY, a member of the Mahwah School Board, he was a past president of the Deerhaven Association in Mahwah. Surviving are his wife Alice (Eitnier) Dobson of Hewitt, his children, Audrey Dobson Eldib of Cairo, Egypt, Henry Dobson, III of Oakland, his step-children, Kim Brennan of Vashon, WA, Kelly Brennan-Rallo of W. Melbourne, FL and Colleen Brennan-Hekemian of Saddle River and his grandchildren Johnathan Dobson of Oakland, Daniel and Molly Hekemian of Saddle River. Memorial Gathering Saturday, January 9, 1-3PM at the Richards Funeral Home, 1440 Union Valley Road, West Milford.
