(Nickerson), 98, widow of the late William (2008), passed away
Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Born in Wilmington, DE, Mrs. Gurka, a homemaker,
lived in Oakland for 55 years, coming from Little Falls. She is survived
by daughter, Gladys Doran of Roseland, NJ, grandchildren, Meredith
Leonard, Penni Mirti and Michael Wheelihan, and great-grandchildren,
Brandon, Madeliene, Grayson and Michelle. She was predeceased by her first
husband, Francis Wheelihan (1983) and son, Frank Wheelihan. Private
Services will be conducted by the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton
Turnpike, Riverdale.
