Jennings, Edith M. (Rutnik), 83, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009. Born in Oakland, CA, Mrs. Jennings has lived in Pompton Lakes, NJ, since 1948, coming from Kearny. An active member of St. Mary’s RC Church and the Pompton Lakes VFW, she had been employed as a machine operator for Artistic Identification Systems, Pompton Lakes, and also worked in the cafeteria for the Pompton Lakes Public School District. Mrs. Jennings is survived by her ten children and their spouses, Joseph and Barbara Jennings, Timothy Jennings, John and Maggie Jennings, David and Doris Jennings, Peter and Simone Jennings, Keith and Cristiana Jennings, Ann Hinchman, Cathy and Russell Bavelaar, Patty and Patrick Moore, Barbara and Frank Jaconetta, twenty grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Joseph (1995) and her son-in-law, James Hinchman. Funeral from the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton Turnpike, Riverdale, 9:30 AM, Monday. Funeral Mass 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Pompton Lakes, NJ. Interment at Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes, NJ. Visitation Sunday, 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM.
