| Kenneth N. Appel, 91,
went home to Jesus Sunday June 13, 2010. Born in Baltimore, MD to
Reverend Charles and Louise Appel, he resided in Butler for most of his
life. Before retirement Mr. Appel was a supervisor for N.J. Bell,
Midland Park. A World War II Army veteran and Bronze Star recipient, he
was a life member of the Butler VFW Post 8096. Beloved husband of
Florence (Gormley) Appel, Loving father of Kenneth Appel of Ringwood,
Brian and Eugene Appel both of Butler, two grandchildren Jennifer and
Kenneth, two great-grandchildren Madelyn and Jason. Funeral service
Thursday 11 A.M. at Richards Funeral Home 4 Newark-Pompton Tpke.
Riverdale. Interment Mt. Rest Cemetery, Butler. Visiting hours Wednesday
2-4 and 7-9 P.M.
