William Ormiston Richardson was born November 16, 1942.  He grew up in Nutley and Wyckoff, NJ.  At the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he was trained in electronics.  After honorable discharge from the Air Force, he worked for UNISYS until he retired, working as a computer and electronics technician.  Bill married Linda Kredell on November 7, 1970 and together they had three children, Dawn, Laura, and Jed.  The family has lived in Ringwood, NJ for 45 years.  Bill is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda, his three children and their spouses, Dawn and Mark Carlsen, Laura and Eli Slavin, and Jed and Eileen Richardson; 12 grandchildren, Cassie, Haley, William and Peter Carlsen; Ethan, Alexandra, Nathanael, and Savannah Slavin; Olivia, Luke, Avery, and Anna Richardson.  Bill was a man who was deeply devoted to his family and Jesus.  He loved life despite years of health problems.  The void left by his death is unthinkable and his memory will be cherished always. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday December 9th at Ringwood Baptist Church, 30 Carletondale Road, Ringwood, NJ. Friends and family are invited to visit at the church beginning at 9am, with a memorial service to begin at 10am.  Burial will follow immediately after at George Washington Cemetery, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ.  Friends and family are welcome at return to Linda Richardsonís home at 8 Progress Place, Ringwood, NJ for food and fellowship.
