Verlardi, Louis H., age 82 of Riverdale, NJ, formerly from the Stoney Road Section of Paterson, NJ, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2017 after a long illness. Louis served honorably in the US AIRFORCE during the Korean War and served from 1952 to 1956.  Louis was an avid hunter, fisherman, and supporter of the NRA. He worked for Public Service Electric in Clifton, NJ for 38 years before retiring in 1993. Louis was predeceased by his son, Kevin J. Verlardi (2004), his sister, Nancy Verlardi, brother, David Verlardi and his Mother Elenor Verlardi. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Lillian nee (Gardner) who he met in a small PA town called Lopez while stationed at the Airforce Base. He is survived by three daughters and one son. Donna Daidone from Little Falls, Patricia Farley and her husband, Larry from Lincoln Park, Sharon Perricelli and her husband, Frank (Retired Fire Captain) Louis Verlardi Jr., and his wife, Barbara. He leaves behind his beloved seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and nieces. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warriors Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517 would be appreciated.
