Weller, Frances H., former resident of Butler and Bloomingdale and until recently Chester, was born on August 27, 1925 in West Milford. She was one of thirteen siblings birthed to Oliver (Jake) and Elizabeth Morse Weller. Frances worked in the lab for the Butler Hard Rubber Mill during the Second World War. The couple resided in Butler where they raised their two children. Frances went to work at Radio Aircraft after being a housewife for more than twenty years. Following a stint in the Butler Knitting Mills, she started to clean houses as an independent contractor. Prior to retirement Frances moved in the Morse Lakes section of Bloomingdale until two years ago. She then moved to Chester to live with her son and daughter-in-law. Due to declining health it became necessary to place her in the Pine Acre Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center over a year ago. Frances quickly became a favorite patient right up to her death on April 3, 2017.   Frances loved to entertain family and friends. Interests included crocheting, crafting, feeding birds, card and board games, and collecting.   Frances is survived by her two children: Ms. Debbie Lukens and son-in-law Tad of Knoxville, Tennessee and son Mark Shenise and daughter-in-law Christina of Chester. She has five grandchildren: Jackie Cronk and Timothy Cronk of Knoxville, Melanie Sillsbury of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Jason Miess of West Orange, and Bethany Shenise of Boston, Massachusetts. There are two great grandchildren: Ana and Mackenzie. Visitation Saturday, April 8, 12-1 PM at Richards Funeral Home Inc., 4 Newark-Pompton Tpke, Riverdale. Funeral Service, Saturday 1 PM. Disposition Private. She will Interred at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester.
